Yes, it probably would be a bit awkward for a living sexdoll to pop down to the supermarket for groceries.
Either way, Fen looks good in her rather minimal ensemble! I'd imagine this sort of outfit would be appropriate to this time of year - assuming dolls even have to deal with summer heat, that is.

I would totally expect dolls to have to wear clothes in public. Humans and non-dolls can be very prudish about this sort of stuff. X3

I liked Lemon's point about the less sturdy, inflatable sexdolls having trouble holding clothing on their light frame. But a Fentoy out and about needs a stylish ensemble to go with the skin.
I picture you mixing your normal fuchsia with a set of buff conrads, an olive scarf, and a white/cream dashiki. How you'd fit your tail under there is your problem...
