
So, in case anyone missed it in an earlier post or journal, we're actually getting a couple of billboards this year. We're getting a big promotion from the Expo.
Doing the billboard designs was a REALLY big challenge. With a normal ad you can add all kinds of extra things, extra bits of text and blurbs to read, things to go into detail.
With a billboard that you see on the side of the road, you have SECONDS to see it. There have to be as FEW words as possible (7 max, they say) and the words have to be a certain size so they can be read from a distance, as people drive up.
Very much a far cry from my normal style of design! I thought I'd share the designs here because, well, it's been an interesting process.
