Le mal - chevalier d'obscurité (Knight of Darkness)
Meet Sany's Le mal! He's standing on a narrow cliff at the top of a mountain pointing at someone he's been hunting for. Think of him saying "You.. your mine!" Shortly after he dives off the cliff, spreads his wings and well, scratch one annoying person. (I imagine it was someone who was ticking off Sandragon.)
I've tried to catch a couple of friends of mine that speak french (I can only nod my head and say we) and see if they could help me translate the title of this one because Sany speaks french primarily, but alas I had to default to bablefish so the title in french might not be what I hoped it means. (Knight of Darkness)
I've tried to keep track of how many hours he took me, and I'm going to conservatively guess at around one hundred fifty hours, start to finish. Le mal is fully articulated and poseable, but his rigging is not designed for complex animations even thou his rig consists of 76 individual bone segments! Le mal's wings actually fold up and stretch out when you pose them!
Now for some fun stats : This image is made up of 21817 Vertexes (points in 3D space) that form 21364 faces (A square has 6). All in all their are eleven objects on 5 layers in the scene, 4 of which are lamps and one is his rigging.
The entire scene is rendered in Blender except the © text, my logo (which was made in Blender) and the title which were added post render with the Gimp.

Don't worry about the amount of time it took me Sany, I knew it was going to take an enormous amount of time when I proposed the art trade with you. (remember I wARNED I did it for fun and to try learn new tricks, and Le mal did that ten fold! He was fun to work on, and proposed a lot of chalanges for me!
