Well, since there are a few furs here who have posted pics of their relatives from 'back in the day', I'll give this a shot...
This was my Aunt Agnes (from my stepmother's side) - I think during the late 1940's :3

Dude my family has pics like that XD
It always cracks me up how awesome everything between the 20s and the 60's was, and really cars were way cooler than they are now. they even made models back then that could be converted into anything from boats to watercraft, and it seemed like everything was built to last. None of that mass production stuff or cutting corners either. Like everything lived up to a superior warranty

that looks like the car my Great Uncle had... it rolled down the hill one day and at the last possible moment swerved into our garage which it knocked over. The only thing keeping it up was a tree that it was leaning on. He forgot to set the brake when he parked it at the top of our hill.

nope... I was maybe ten years old and witnessed the whole thing - my Uncle running after the car and then falling away and rolling in the dirt- then the wheels suddenly cutting to the left. That kept it from rolling into route 6 which was a very busy road. But no one was hurt. That car was so heavy.
