This is the insert of the tail that I have made. Its made of matching pairs of foam PVC plastic that I cut out with a hack saw. Between the pairs of foam PVC is strips of nylon webbing so that the tail can be flexible while still being durable. All the parts were then riveted together.

I almost feel like the skeleton was more impressive than the finished tail. It was pretty fun to play with. It was a lot like one of these wooden snake toys http://m4.sourcingmap.com/photo_new.....650_ux_g03.jpg
