I had a short story all planned out for this, and then I forgot it all...FUCK!! XD
So here we have another lovely piece drawn by the awesomely awesome
who took quite a liking to the theme for this pic. There's my mate 
as a Black Mage, whereas I choose the route of the White Mage. I really adore the way this is drawn out, and the colors seem to draw out the perfect balance that brings out the true essence of the theme behind it.
Oh look at me blathering on like I have an idea what I'm saying. xD
Point being, I absolutely LOVE this piece, and I will DEFINITELY be commissioning Bone again in the future!
