Crutsu are intensely magical beings. Ynnwaw are actually a budding race of psychics on the cusp of actually BEING psychic--they're quite literally only a generation or two away from their first psychic individuals. (They're also the source of crop circles because of it.)

Bred together, they created a child with a weird psychic manifestation of a Crutsu power--which is widely believed by others to BE his magic. For magic, it'd be shitty magic. For a psychic power, it's actually pretty damn impressive.

Troika has the power of psychic space distortion, which alows him to warp or distort space in a physical sense.

Fun story, using that on others creates an effect that summarises nicely into SPLORCH.

Using it on himself is apparently A-OK though.

Watch out, the kid's got the power of psychic head-explode.
