In my 26, almost 27, years alive, I have never been in a car accident. Today I was though. :c Luckily, both parties are ok. The unfortunate part is the other one was a bicyclist. At 6:30am here in Okinawa, the sun beams so brightly that it's literally blinding and hard to see if you're heading right towards it. It's the same way pretty much everywhere else. ;p

Well, today a bicyclist was coming one way and I was going the opposite way. I was pulling into the parking lot, blinding almost completely by the sun, and I heard and felt my car go thump then my window spider-webbed. The bicyclist flew off his bike, landed on my window and rolled off. Luckily all he got was a couple scrapes and bruises. I was maybe going 5mph. My car took the most damage. His bike has a bent tire and that's pretty much it.

We're both ok, my car isn't. :c Hopefully my insurance can help with his bike, and I can just pay for the windshield. But wow, it has been one hell of a week. One thing I'm not allowed to talk about, it needs to be kept quiet. But the news has already covered it a lot, and then this. :C Not a good week at all! Hopefully next week is better.
