Yeah, I love monotone coloring. I don't know why. I've always preferred it to flat coloring. ^3^
You did a wonderful job, it's as you said smooth, and to me a little calming. It gives me a different feeling from your normal cute things. Much more calming to look at. Not that's a bad thing, just a change of pace and I can't wait to see more of them if you do them.
