Geez, lady - Where do you get your inspiration from? Each one of your paintings is so unique in style and subject matter but you always say they're 'speedy'... do you honestly just throw paint at the paper and just go with whatever comes out? Your mind is a magical place.
It really is kind of like that, especially right now x.x I mean, it's not really a great way to go at art, or building a sensible body of work and all, but I'm so preoccupied with feeding my rabbit and site work and so on that when it comes to art for cons I just go with the first idea and scribble it down AFAP. One day.. ONE DAY I will have time to take time on my own work. Right now I gotta spend my energy juice on commissions, though.
imo that was the piece that was the most striking in the artshow at EF this year,
the whole color contrast effect is really excellent, making both character stand out but at the same time balancing them together instead of opposing them, simply said I just love it.
I expected to have to fight dearly for it but it seems the ripples of the economical crisis in europe still find their way in EF art auction this year again :/
but Im really happy to have been able to buy it, thank you very much for painting it, it's a true delight for the eyes
