Srsly I plugged wires into the breadboard. The program is really simple. every 250 ms turn on one light, turn off another.

Do you have to record and calculate that time interval MANUALLY?!

the If/endif are commented, but they're there so that I can put a switch in instead of it just looping.

Oh. From the way you said that (I must have been completely oblivious to the word "Program"), I assumed you had to tap a switch or something every 250 milliseconds. *laughs*

the HI means "turn it on" and LOW means "turn it off." The number is WHICH to turn on and off.

Yup. It's BASIC.
The board has no idea what's plugged into it, it just sends or doesn't send currnet (though it is pretty advanced as any one of the ports can be either input or output :o ). All the wires and what's hooked up to what and what does it do when powered is all up to me.

Now, lessee- maybe hide the wiring? Are you going to play with more lights? I think this has a lot of awesome going for it. Kudos!

Yeah, I'm working on the wiring. It's not going to completely disapear, but it'll be less of a mess. I can't hide RED wire on a WHITE wall very well without paiting it.

White tape? Tubing? Still, it does look pretty neat, so far.

Heh. I was merely suggesting them as an idea for concealing your so brightly-coloured wiring... I still wanna put this on a stone wall in a garden, somewhere... It would be gorgeous at night with the wee lights flickering through leaves...
