SO, getting ready to try Alliance, new chapter is opening up here in denver, and my husband has plans to actually play this character originally designed for nero but he never got a chance to use it. Its a Wylderkin muntjac and while the old mask was still useable, it was pretty badly outdated.
SO, I took off the ears, took off the antlers and recycled them into this one. VASTLY superior to the old thing. Stays on better, overall looks more sophisticated, lighter.
And I want to take a moment to mention I AM going to be doing larp masks again, and I am switching over to a plastic shell for them as well. The old latex/foam thing is jut not as versatile or practical as this method. Any species! and I can even custom-form it specifically to your face if you send me a VERY GOOD casting of your whole-head in plastic or Foam (plaster is no good) But my current maquette is really good for most people in terms of predicting fit.

Muntjac are such adorable little deer. I had the privilege to work with them once. The bucks are so fierce looking with their long teeth and the does are very sweet once they get used to you. Had one I worked with named Annie who loved animal crackers and I was put in charge of training another little doe named Amy to be used to being around people. They tame fairly quickly if you have the patience.
kk, well, umm, I guess head on over to alliancedenver.com, read their material and stuff and if it seems like something you want to commit to for atleast one weekend (first game is in sept), then note or email me and we can chat a bit. Not totally sure if this idea is going to get off the ground but I figure even if a group thing dosnt work out, then atleast more people know about the game and thats more opportunity for roleplay regardless : )
