I honestly believe that the Mega evolution thing won't really change the game much. it'll just be a temporary thing for the Pokemon, no doubt.

I believe it's a battle-only function. Basically a battle-only evolution that gives you different abilities, typing and a boost in stats, perhaps. I may be wrong though. : )

tbh im rather happy to see under used ones like Absol and Mawile get some new attention, even if these evos arent perm, cause both absol and mawile were rather underpowered to be single stage mons
