CLOSED ~* Honorary Dragoncat Character Design Auction *~
Yes, this is happening.
Yes, I'm crazy.
I'm offering someone the opportunity to own an honorary Dragoncat. I know people ask me quite often if I would ever make adoptables or allow people to draw their character as Dragoncat's "species", but I always decline because her physical features aren't what defines the species. Every single member of Dragoncat's species (Diephid) all look different because they represent the flora and fauna of Earth as Gods.
Said Honorary Dragoncat would be a "furry" version of Dragoncat (like the ref I use now) and have no relation/existence to the more realistic DC. The colors and markings would have to be different and you would obviously need a name!
The winner will get a ref similar to what you see here (this is supposed to be DC's updated ref). Either the winner can come up with the markings or I can! I can certainly convert an existing character! I will not make an adult ref, nor will I make an anthro version.
Auction Details
HIGHEST BIDDER: BUY-OUT OPTION WAS TAKEN
Starting Bid: $50.00 USD
ENDS: August 14th, 12 PM (noon) EST
Buy-out Price: $500.00 USD
Winner will also get 40% off on any art they commission from me!
I will also add-on art depending on how high this goes.
Rules on the Character
> You can not sell the design after purchased.
> You may trade or giveaway, but the next owner must be made aware of and abide by all of these rules.
> You are free to get adult art with this character, but be aware that was not part of the original design. "Furry" Dragoncat is shy/bashful in that department.
> You can not make spin-off designs. You can not "breed" this character with other characters.

i don't think its fair if didn't reply to the last bidder everyone who has bidded so far has replied to each other so they know they where bidded against and SimulatedSanity didn't reply to the last person, they did earlier but not on the last reply they sent that's like going behind someones back
The "furry" one is like a super dumbed down version. Easier to draw, added more color, and obviously just stuck with 'Dragoncat' for the name because its too hard to say "Hycinth" in fursuit Px I guess its a way to get my name out there with a simple design and a catchy name Px
The realistic one is sort of complicated because I dont usually have the time to daydream about such things these days. Shes never meant to have anything to do with people (I cant quite explain that further lol), nor was she ever meant to even be anthro, or to even depict her in lude scenes. Making a fursuit of her almost seemed like I was disrespecting the design, but I think I take her too seriously. I consider her like a guardian, rather then a fursona.
I've always pictured us as separate beings, but I don't know if that's me constantly fighting with my subconscious on who I really am. I made Dragoncat when I was in the 5th grade. She even stayed black and white because she was drawn with pencil.
But thats just my rant on her design. As for what she is and does, its too corny to really explain fully. She was the god of flowers (or I guess to be exact, wild flowers), demoted to something that could equate to a pet with free will. Most gods get demoted for doing something bad to other gods or jepordizing their existance to the mortal humans who live on the Earth's surface. Normaly they are turned into an immortal version of what they represent, ie DC would have become a flower that would sit there forever lol, but instead she was given a sort of "extention" to her existance. Any demoted god is then replaced with a new one, but not in a quick/predictable way, the bugs/larvae sense what gods are needed and become/form into a needed god. http://dark-dragoncat.deviantart.co.....REV1-155167957
Its supposed to be something sort of spiritually whimsical, but slightly dark. The general landscape is a lot of wilderness mixed with simplistic/natural hut/village stuff and a castle where the Grim Reaper resides Px His brother owns the other portion of land, which would be your classic hellish/hot/lava landscape. Theres some artificial sun/sky involved. I guess its a mixture of sci-fi and fantasy gearing around the idea that people were accidentally placed on Earth and the "crew" left to deal with it is what Dragoncat is a part of Px
