I've offically decided that Dragonair is my favorite pokemon of all time. =D
So, its blue, its a dragon, and its just plain yummy... even if its sort of a bitch to train in the game. xD Its first evolution is at, like, lvl 30-something... and from what I've seen, the moves it learns aren't that great. BUT it can learn ice attackes, as well as fire, electric, and water attacks... which is cool. And I'm pretty sure that dragons are just strong against most other types, save for ice types, but don't quote me on any of this info. xD;
So, more fun with markers during class, and love for my fav pokemon. I f-ed up when I first did her though, 'cause I forgot to leave a white belly... so here we see, for the first time, art with more than one medium. Oooooooooooo!
Messed around with white cante (sp?) crayon, which is kinda more sticky than chalk and less waxy than crayolas, and some white colored pencil. Neither gave me that true white that I wanted, but it gets the point acrossed and was kinda fun to mess with.
The hearts were a random background choice that actually ended up looking a lot like how my dragonair comes out of her pokeball... I have her set with a ball capsule and seals that kinda sprays hearts when she pops out, and probably looks something much like this. xD
Expect more dragonair art from me, because she's pretty fun to draw and I loooove long, smooth, curvy shapes like this.
>( only thing I dislike about this pokemon is that its final stage, Dragonite, looks almost nothing like its pre-evolved stages... I'm probably going to refuse to let my poor girl evolve past dragonair for that reason. Ugh, yellow... *grumble* I wish they'd kept the blue coloring at least...

Ditto. When I was 11, I thought the Dragonair on the Pokémon card was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. She was my first crush, so to speak. I have a Dragonair figurine on top of my monitor right now.
I say my love for snakes and lust for serpents in general came from Dragonair. :O
