oh, it twas very much a trail & error crawler-game X'S (but there was a LOT of that around back then)
I quite liked his design aesthetic, and the glide-y-ness actually \:> only too bad that the studio choked the life/shet out of Bubsys' reign before it got anywhere good.. (guddamn 3D suuuure did kill it.) ~_~; never played 2 or 3D, but will remember 1 fondly~

Only ever played the first one (holy HELL.
SO MUCH.) because annoyingly clunky games are what kids in the 90's did back then! and I like the character design aesthetic somewhat~~ \:S only tooooo damn bad it took a VERY short tip down Fumbles to Failure Lane and died a completely sad-face death due to progressively shittier games~ |C (there was potential there.. i guess, that is onea' of the smaller reasons I'll always remember Bubs' )
