It's actually Pizzazz of the Misfits, but to be fair, she and Roxy are nearly indistinguishable anyway.

Yeah, that managed to slip quite a few things past the censors, even with the green blood. The one that stands out in my mind? "I'm with you like a pit-bull on a baby!" They also did a scene for scene parody of Enter the Dragon. I liked the character Madman/Mad-Man (seen it spelled both ways), too.

I love Makoto to death. I always thought she was interesting because even though she was tall and somewhat physically aggressive, she was pretty keen on embracing her own brand of femininity. It's really what I liked about Sailor Moon in general growing up, because it was the only 'girls show' where the female characters didn't have goals that revolved exclusively around shopping and boys, and wasn't populated by unicorns and fairies and the like.

It was a point of irony that Makoto was the biggest bully-girl in reputation, yet the most conservative homemaker of the lot. That's what I liked about the younger scouts - the older ones gained a degree of "mystique" at the cost of being easily identified with.
