Fandango is exactly where he should be right now. The fact is his gimmick is pretty stupid, and it's hard to take anyone seriously as a ballroom dancer. It doesn't help that he isn't exactly impressive in the ring. With all the hype and build, as well as going against Jericho, I was expecting something that would blow me away, and it just didn't. He's got a nice move or two; but that's about it, and for me that isn't enough when you have such a crap gimmick. As far as his mic skills go, maybe he's decent; but he's never gotten me invested in him. Not just as Fandango; but as Johnny Curtis as well. (And I LOVE terrible puns.)

Sandow on the other hand has been very impressive. Much like Fandango he isn't the greatest wrestler; but he makes up for it in a huge way by being the most dedicated character in the WWE. Not the best gimmick; but he puts more into his character than anybody else going right now. Not to mention that he legitimately makes me laugh with some of the things he says. And unlike most of the other heels, I actually want to see him lose. I want to see him get flustered and frustrated, because he pulls it off so well.

Really excited about his feud with Rhodes, and I hope they don't end it at Summerslam. I still think he is going to drop the briefcase to Rhodes at some point. At first I thought this might be the feud of the Summer; but with the way Punk and Lesnar have performed over the past few weeks, it's dropped down to #2 in my books. Still can't wait for it though.

yea Fandango is gonna hit his glass ceiling with that gimmick. Unless he really turns it up in the ring he'll be relegated to the midcard for his career.

And what are you thoughts on Sandow winning the MITB? Was it too soon, or do you think he was ready without winning any other titles?

I think the only reason he won is so that he can eventually drop the briefcase to Rhodes. If he does cash it in himself and wins the WHC it'll be too soon in my opinion, especially since he skipped the midcard altogether.

I agree with both. Fandango has a silly gimmick, and he is great for some comical.. but pushing over someone like Jericho and still no title? Im unhappy he was used to push curtis to nothing more than ring walkouts. Though the bout with randy was his best so far.

Personally, I'm hoping they have it so Sandow tries to cash in his MitB contract, only to have Rhodes rush out and cause him to lose the chance at it once it's cashed in. Like you say, Sandow is someone who's such a good heel, people WANT him to lose. He plays the part very well :)

I don't mind that idea; but the selfish part of me wants to see Rhodes as world champion. He's been a favorite of mine for a while.

Oh no, believe me, I want Rhodes as champ as well... I just think it'd be delicious and ironic revenge. Cody causes the MitB cash-in match result to be a disqualification by attacking Sandow just as he is about to win the title, stealing the title right out from under Sandow's nose just like how Sandow stole the contract just as Cody was about to win it

Fandango gives ballroom dancers a bad name in regards to...HE CAN'T DANCE.

On him talent wise, he actually was a pretty good wrestler as Johnny, but, this whole horrible gimmick kills everything he has.

You're exactly right actually about Fandango. Even the part where he was supposed to be the Intercontinental Champion at Payback. I was pissed that he wasn't at Payback either because Chicago would have pushed him further than anywhere.

I'm worried about his character, it's really starting to flop. But hopefully they put him on one of the SS teams

I did hear they might be bringing back bill Goldberg and boogeyman
