Not much armor going on for color practice ideas but it actually has a concept~ The armor and sheathed weapon has a bond with its user, and if used constantly, it can tear the user's conscious apart and attach itself to them, giving them thoughts to make them insane. Driven by bloodlust and violence, this armor/weaponry can pose a threat to anyone regardless of their experience. Developed signs of constant usage include spines protruding out and a dark aura emitting around the warrior. For this individual, an eye in the center lies dormant in black material. It can appear and look towards whoever it has interest in, wanting their soul for consumption. After catching a good prey, the warrior hears its thoughts and needs for killing said person and even goes as far as persuasion to give in. These effects are possibly due to all the times he used it in the past, so the armor grows and feels safe with its host, having a reliable chance that its feeding can be given whenever the time comes.

But in this case, he -likes- it. So that chemistry is not so good in an area involving a battle tournament :D
