Wow,, that IS quite the change in style and I will have to say, it is quite impressive! The whole underpainting ...direct from the tube...cool! As far as gently moving away from cehpalopods. Sortof reminds me of an idea I had... a mad science creation, really. An octosquito. Tiny, silent-flying octopus, with each sucker pad housing a tiny hypodermic needle. Swoop down out of the night and attach itself to your FACE.
