Giving sharks a light punsh on the snout is actually a common thing for divers to do in order to let the animal know that it has just come too close for comfort. But this guy in the vid really reacted well. Since sharks dont like to be surprised they quickly abandon a potential meal to ensure their own safety, if they get surprised like that. The most dangerous thing that could have happened to the man would be a blow to the head by the sharks caudal fin but depending on the size of the shark, they can break bones.
