Actually the fault lies with DC as much as CN. CN had been to ridged and didn't want to put the show at a better time slot and DCU kept trying to bill it as a kids show for early morning while trying to stay true to the fans. But if they'd both worked together a bit better and got the time slot of the new Teen Titans show and kept it at the same level the series would have flourished.
