Again, while home for the Holidays we visited many of my old haunts on Cape Cod in Mass. Chatham has always been one of my favorite towns on the Cape, and if I ever win the lottery it will be high on my list of places to settle.
This is the Chatham Coast Guard Station which overlooks the eroding bluff in front of the now-breached barrier island peninsula that once protected this part of the mainland. In 50 years or so this may all be gone. Wizard is in the passengers' seat of the rental minivan we drove out from Minnesota, and Rio is just visible in the back seat.
