Probably the 2nd year they are out, that way all the bugs are worked out.

There won't be any bugs. Its been out in Australia as the Holden Commodore for a couple of years already. Any bugs it still has left aren't going to show up for about five years.

The new GTO never had any bugs. But just like the G8, it was a Holden that was imported and rebadged. In its case, the Holden Monaro. Which was basically a coupe version of the Commodore(slightly lighter, as well)

I prefer an auto on my road cars, to be honest. I've got no problem with stick I just don't prefer it if I'm not on a racetrack. When I'm on the road I wanna be relaxed and not worrying about anything.

That and automatics are waaaay expensive. Especially a 6 speed good god maintinance on that bitch is insane, trust me!





Otherwise what would be in there is a T56 or a T6. GM loves those Tremec's. And they are very reliable and relatively cheap to maintain.

Oh, trust me, I know all about maintaining stuff. I work on cars for a living. Race them on occasion just for fun.

ehh Manuals give you MUCH better performance and fuel economy. i want to swap a Manual into my 1995 Talon TSi AWD

GTO styling was a travesty. This will be a nice step up.

...they need to remake the Fiero. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

Personally I LIKED the GTO styling. It looked like a BMW for the less sophisticated. But I do agree, this is quite a bit nicer than the GTO. Looks like the delinquent son of the GTO and the BMW 5-Series.

And I DEFINITELY agree on the Fiero. They wouldn't even need to restyle it. Just throw in a better engine and transmission. And of course don't put in a shitty electrical system that catches fire at the drop of a hat.

Hah yeah, but knowing car makers these days they'd probably water it down to a front engine. Would defeat the purpose entirely. :(

Nice to know someoboy else like the GTO. I liked the fact it was deliciously...understated. It wasn't a "show" car, it was a "I'm gonna kick your ass" car
