I used MarciMcAdam's badges as a guide. I felt the box badges would be much easier to do as a beginner, until I find my own way to do them or cut them out. It'd also be easier to buy little pouches for them if I ever do them at cons.

They pretty much do. I mean I guess the reason Marci's art looks nice is because the markers she uses blends well when used. Though it's good to see an artist do a different kind of style like u did. I wish u good luck on making badges in the future. I bet u will do great. ^^
That is actually kind of uncanny. The character and the lettering are both look differently than how Marci draws them, but just from the thumbnail it really did look like something from her. I guess I just associate Prismacolor stuff with her.
Either way, nice to see you experimenting with drawing traditional badges. Looking forward to seeing more.
