sorry for the picture quality, I don't have a decent camera.
the "recipe" this time is just a list of ingredients. everything is to taste, so make sure to be careful
Marinade:
brown sugar
honey
corn starch (as a binder)
Chinese black vinegar
Thai red pepper (careful, these are potent)
chili oil
ginger
mushroom soy sauce
sesame oil
Meat & Veggies
Chicken (breasts work, but I like to use thighs)
Beef (any reasonable thickness will work)
bean sprouts
broccoli
snow peas
Method
mix together marinade ingredients together, making enough to coat the meat and have some set aside for later. heat oil in a wok on medium heat, once hot, throw in the beef with enough marinade to cover the bottom. cook until the outside is cooked and inside is still a bit rare, set aside in a bowl. add a bit more oil and throw in the chicken. cook until cooked through fully, then set aside with beef. throw in broccoli with enough of the marinade to cover the bottom, cook for about 2-3 minutes and add the snow peas. cook for another 2 minutes, then add bean sprouts, continuing to cook until tender. cover with a lid if the vegetables haven't softened. remove vegetables and place in a large bowl, toss with the meat and serve.
recommend rice or Chinese noodles as a bed for the stir fry
Allergy warning – recipe contains soy products
