Slowly crossing things off on my checklist of things that need to be done.
So remember that fashion company I mentioned a while ago? Well now I'm finally getting around to actually writing things about that company, even if only the owner and her assistant (and a random entry level employee) currently. Riley and Nefertari became some of my favorite characters at some point a while ago, especially Nefertari for reasons that are probably obvious. It's just a random little slice of life thing of how the two of them generally start their day.
Serperior, Gardevoir, and Pokemon as a whole are owned by Nintendo/GameFreak.
Characters are my own creation.
It would be nice if I could regularly upload something once a week like this but I know it's a trend I'll break sooner or later.
The restaurant is always Italian.

The bit about Italian restaurants is more just an in-joke to myself/a bit of self-deprecation, but it's a problem that mostly comes from me having admittedly small pools of reference. In the case of food, for example, I have very picky tastes when it comes to what I eat in real life and so that translates to a lot of pizza, pasta, seafood, and bland beef and chicken being used in my stories because that's what I'm most familiar with, and sadly Thai food is one of many things I don't know very much about. Trying to write about things that I'm unfamiliar with is a frequent issue that I run into; if I didn't show my writing in streams there would've been several times when I'd have been floundering about not knowing what to do without pointers from people more knowledgeable than I am. <A>;

The first thing Nefertari reminded me of sorta is th realationship between Tony Stark and Pepper Pots, as Nefertari is a owner of a company, but has too much of an ego to run it themselves, and so their most advised secretary is all the business. (Although Nef here can be into her job if passionate enough.)
Thats an interesting approach to it, although I don't think that Riley is interested in fat chicks. However, if Nicole, "Nefertari's real name" ever learns about the receptionist's crush on him, her competitive nature might not give him a choice! I mean hes almost her boyfriend anyway, with the way she treats him in certain respects. It'll only be a matter of time before she "marks" her "territory".
Riley is mostly indifferent to women in general, but especially Nefertari; they've been around each other ever since both of them were children so he's become desensitized to the allure of her figure. Nefertari isn't really competitive in that way though, I meant that she doesn't like when others, particularly her subordinates, are bigger than her, and Pearl isn't going to be getting so huge any time soon. The way she acts with Riley is just teasing, again because they're childhood friends, so she likes to play around with him whenever she can get the opportunity.
Belated, but I haven't seen the Iron Man movies or read any comics with him, but ayes, that's more or less the idea. Nefertari is very serious when it comes to her work with designing clothes, it's mostly that she doesn't like having to do extensive amounts of paperwork. Though, to be fair, she did wake up to Riley immediately trying to force her out of bed, and probably having a bit of a hangover as well.
