This is to show my current process of drawing. In this case I want to draw a fox (anthro) casually reading in a book outside a café. Chilling in the shade, taking an afternoon to himself.

Description of image:
By scanning the image or just taking a photo of it, I now begin my photoshop drawing. I use the pen tool to create vector graphics (which is a fantastic way to go about drawing!), using the rough sketch as guide.
Depending on how many changes I want from the sketch, this take a long time, but is relatively fun. Some changes occur as I find errors in proportions or anatomy between now and the final line art. What helps me vastly improve the drawing is to simply walk away from it now and then. I do something else and then return later, and my eyes will go "Hey, that looks wrong!". Instead of being a skilled drawer from the get-go, I have to work and hammer at the drawing to torture it into shape. But, it's very easy to correct everything when it's in vectors. Just two clicks to redraw every line! ^.^
