Personality: Heavyset, sassy, and proud, Ruka is the type of girl who doesn't take kindly to insults to herself. Born in the industrial district of Canalave city, the lucario's attitude was forged from a lifetime of bullying and harsh fights. She does get along with most of the team, but usually keeps to herself.

Ruka is extremely confrontational, often engaging in fights that could easily be avoided through talking. She has quite the temper as well, and does not take kindly to being insulted, if her detention record has anything to say: out of the entirety of Team RoadBuster, Ruka makes up 25% of the team's detentions for unsanctioned fights outside of the arena. This is a result of her parents mostly being away on archeological expeditions, leaving Ruka to fend for herself in school. While this as allowed Ruka to learn to be more independent than most mon, she never really had a role model because of the absence of her parents.

Despite her confrontational attitude, Ruka is rather amicable to be with, though her brash, sassy attitude has earned her the ire of her teammate, Melanie Altaic. She does seem to be rather affectionate with Melanie's aide, Arthur, after coming to blows with Melanie over her treatment of the Minun. Despite her affection, however, she often teases the Minun for his crush on her. It is unknown if she reciprocates the crush.

Ruka's relationship with her family is a bit strained, due to her parents almost always being away when she was younger, but she cares immensely for her sister, Ophelia, whom she practically raised herself with the help of her aunt.

Preferred Fighting Style: Ruka is savage and brutal in her attacks, often going to the head and the joints with powerful strikes to cripple her opponents with her physical attacks. Her ranged attacks are rather limited, as she loves close combat, but the few she does have are specialized for a variety of foes. She makes heavy use of intimidation tactics, glaring at her foes and not breaking eye contact before the match starts. While her savage strikes are devastating in the early parts of the fight, her lack of staying power is her weakness, if someone manages to last long against her, their chances of winning increase tremendously. While Ruka can take a tremendous amount of punishment, she can't dish out as much if the fight lasts a long time
