Even in the distant sci-fi future that Sliver inhabits, traditional movies are still big business and an important entertainment market. With the continuing advances in holographic and simsense technology, it's trivially easy for even a small studio to produce feature films of the quality that cost tens of millions of dollars today, and upload it straight to the Hyperweb, where it will be watched by billions of sentients. There remains, however a rather nostalgic market for those who still prefer to see their movies, be they 3D Holoproductions or flatscreen 2D, in the communal 'cinema' experience at Trideo Emporiums. It is in this niche market of cyberpunk and noir movies of dubious quality and archaic plotlines, that Sliver finds a little fame and fortune, when the contracts and info broker biz have dried up. His latest, Neon Angel, is a woefully cliche cybercrime movie starting himself in the lead role, and infamous sensa-sim starlet, Amber Foxx, as the seductive femme fatale.

I had a lot of fun putting this mock movie poster together, created with the help of Second Life snapshotting at a fantastically cybernoir-ish sim, and then further photoediting to add that 80's / 90's scifi movie feel and grain, though I do get a strong anime vibe from the way it and Sliver looks as well, so very happy all round with the way it turned out.

I was going to add a tagline 'Penumbra Has a New Guardian Angel', but if anyone wants to suggest one just for fun, please leave it in the comments below! :)
