So I've been tossing around a lot of ideas in my head recently- the main one is a possible complete change to my fursona. I thought about going a whole new species entirely, but I'm more drawn to canines than anything and think they suit me more. These are 3 of the main dogs I've been strongly considering.
1. German Shepard
Yes I know there are a million GSDs in the fandom, but I think they're a beautiful breed. The GSD's I've ever been in contact with are loyal, friendly, and highly protective.
2. Doberman Pinscher
I'm not really sure about the breed, I've had limited experience with them, but I think the Doberman suits a very cool look for me lately due to their rough looking exterior and general "back off" kind of face >:V I could totally rock this look with chains and so fourth.
3. Labrador Retriever (chocolate)
I've had Chocolate labs and they are my absolute favorites of any and all dog breeds. They're loyal to the core, friendly, and quite a bit goofy. Plus I can use RL pictures of my dogs as icons if I choose this breed lmao
I'm just not sure which best suits me. I've done a lot of thinking over the past few months, and realized I probably need a change. While Makki has always suited me just fine, I feel like she's way too light hearted and fun loving to really represent "me" anymore...
I don't know, maybe I'll just take a whole different wolf if I can't decide on a dog lol
What do you think? Which canine do you think looks best? I'm probably going to stick with an overall generic look to which ever I do decide on. Exotic colors don't really suit me unless its crazy hair or the occasional wacky outfit. For the most part though I wear pretty much what is seen here, blue/black jeans and black shirts. I'm so plain :P
These are still working designs. None of the markings or colors (except for the lab) is set in stone. I could use some votes and input to help make a decision. :3

Well let me have a very hard think about this hmm what ever will I - NOT REALLY! I PICK NUMBER 2! THE DOBERMANS SHALL RIIIIIISE!
Seriously though, you draw dobermans excellently. Also, I would be wary of choosing a breed just because you like it. Fun fact: Dobermans were actually one of my least favourite breeds when I made my first fursona. I tried Golden Retrievers and German Sheps (my two favourites at the time) first, but it just didn't feel right. Doberman kind of clicked.
So ignore how you feel about the breed, and go by how you feel about the fursona.
Then go do some advanced calculus, just to cancel out how wishy-washy and irrational the above approach is.
