It's an AU version of Benedict, AU where he works for the Swiss government and needs to investigate some weird magician shit in NYC

Competency, cleanliness, organized religion, straightforwardness, his glasses, solidly made watches, high-quality metals, organized filing systems, a good cigarette, going to the casino.
Dislikes:
Beating around the bush, messy hair, loudness, frivolity, having to use the internet for anything other than research and communication, people without faith in anything in the world.
History:
Born into a Roman Catholic family in the Maloja District in Switzerland with only a strict father that homeschooled him from an early age, Benedict grew up having few other children to interact with and a strong focus on succeeding academically. After attending University, he realized that his true calling was his duty to his family and his country. He believes wholeheartedly in serving and protecting his citizens to the best of his ability, in order to preserve everyone’s right to their own lives.
Assigned to the WITCH HUNT task force after his government decided that the banks of Switzerland were at high risk.
Personality:
Charismatic only because he looks and acts like he walked out of a spy film from the 70s, Benedict is a bit hard to get used to at first—he is definitely not the type for irrelevant small talk or frivolous social gestures. However, that does not mean he isn’t sympathetic towards others—in fact, he understands the motives behind most people’s actions and has a relatively high sense of justice and fairness for all. He places great value in actually completing his job to the best of his ability and beyond.
Somehow, he has an air of authority surrounding him.
It’s difficult to have a relationship with him deeper than the level of acquaintances or coworkers, but it is achievable—he actually has a rather dry sense of humor which he thinks is a lark.
He tends to get quiet and surprisingly shy whenever someone prods at anything other than his professional life.

He’s married, but doesn’t display it publicly at all. One would think that he was unattached and single until they start to know him and are able to read him better.
