Ceiling Schnolf is watching you! 8)
...a nonsense picture I had in mine and wanted to draw (please don't pay attention to wrong lighting, perspective and stuff). Just quick and dirty, but I wanted to upload it. ;)

An opossum once did exactly what your picture depicts, seriously! Right over the sink at my grandmother’s house, though it later fell through, as there was a giant hole rotting in the ceiling above the kitchen sink; and one day, when the opossum was having a “look-see”, it toppled head first into a heap of pots and pans; my father then proceeded to kill it with a few terminal knocks to the noggin. It was I, though, who first spotted it poking its head through the gape; I nearly shit my drawers, it being the middle night and seeing some strange creature gazing at me from across the kitchen and all. My grandmother didn’t believe me until it plunged through. But your picture brought it back to me and I thought I would share it.
I'm home alone conversing with a friend online during a crisp winter night and enjoying talking about today's and yesterday's news as well as some personal matters. But through the conversation I've been unable to shake off a sense of being observed by an unknown presence. It unnerves me and I've been ignoring it so far letting our banter shove the feeling of eyes into the recesses of my consciousness. Try as I might the sensation won't disappear and soon returns more intense than before. Becoming a tad uneasy I bring the matter to my friend, who has up until this point been unaware of my plight.
Typing on computer:
"Hey, buddy."
"Yeah?"
"I've got the feeling that someone is watching me."
"What, why?"
"I don't know. I can't put my finger on it."
"Well the we are being watched by The Man all the time so I wouldn't be surprised if you were."
"Not like on my computer, I mean that I feel that they're in my house, in the same room I am."
"Come on, man the government can't do that."
"I know, but I just can't shake this vibe that someone is looking over my shoulder even if I can't see them. Its like I'm feeling a ghost but can't find where it is."
"Aren't you alone tonight?"
"Yeah, I am."
"So why do you keep feeling like someone's watching you."
"I want to find out myself."
"Be careful, I don't want you getting in trouble."
Don't worry, I won't, you know me.
After a pregnant pause...
"I'm going to log out for now see you later."
"Okay, just all me if you want help. I'm here for you."
"I know and I will, thanks buddy."
"Okay, G'Night."
"Night."
I close the window and continue to browse looking over some saved files all the while blissfully unaware of the pair of cyan eyes boring holes into my back. The watcher observes silently from a hidden opening in the ceiling as I gaze upon information that few possess and even fewer know of. The unseen face smiles revealing rows of sharp teeth in child-like gleefulness. It knows the subject is not yet aware of its arrival and has no intention of showing itself... at least not yet.
The time will come when it will get the information it needs. Which will be in mere moments...
"Have a god night, my precious, you'll need it for the days to come." It thinks to itself.
The End.
Whew. Another short story done for another FurAffinity artist. Hope you like.
Ciao for now,
