Here's one of the best photos of me (all metaled up with the beard and head-shaving and all) from the tour I just finished. This was taken at Alliance Fest in McDonald, PA (August 3rd I think).
Obviously the photo wasn't taken by me, but by my new friends at Logan Tilley Photography, as it says in the corner there, so all credit to them. I believe you can find them on Facebook and Tumblr for more cool stuff.
To answer any questions about what's going on here, I decided mid-tour to start playing a portion of one of the songs over the neck like this, so I'm arpeggiating octaves in different positions with the open low string, using three fingers on my right hand. People seemed to think it was pretty cool, but it was just a fun and sort of easy thing to do. I did a lot of exaggerated playing like this just to be entertaining. I like playing metal bass (and bass in general) without a pick, although it was a little rough on my hands sometimes :P
Also, you wouldn't know it from the picture but I actually dislocated my knee (twice) two or three days prior to this, so I'm playing in a brace here and supposed to be on crutches but eh. . . the show must go on! \m/

Yeah, that's hilarious, we were actually touring with them. They were awesome. I don't think I ever met whoever their old vocalist was, cause the guy we toured with had long hair, but the shaved head/beard thing is pretty common in metal. I don't look like this right now, but it's not often you get sweet professional photos so I don't want to change my ID x3
