Well, what did we do now...These are some character sketches and color tests I did for some goofy comic
drachemetzger and I are working on between work and everything else. Its an Elder Scrolls parody, which includes a few of our actual game characters from Morrowind, Oblivion (mostly oblivion) and Skyrim, and covers some of the more amusing adventures we had in game, and some of the more laughable conversations we've had outside of the game. Needless to say, there will probably be lots of breaking the fourth wall.
The characters pictured here, from top to bottom, are:
Maxius, Jen's first Nord from Morrowind, who in spite of his in game personality and her original back story for him, became our comic drive, if only because Jen told me she got mobbed by a bunch of people in...Seyda Neen, I think...and as revenge, she stole everyone's pillows, just to fill a lighthouse with them after she accidently killed the lady living there XD
Horse, Maxius's stupid but lovable white horse, who isn't actually based on a horse in game, but from a conversation we chuckled our way through while playing...
Seifer, my first nord from Oblivion...who is kind of a giant stick in the mud, but he has his funny moments, and without him Maxius might never get from point A to point B (alive), and thus there would be no comic, and then we'd have no excuses to be doing nothing all day :|
Lex, Seifer's cranky, law-abiding bay, who is named after the person he stole said horse from (in the comic, that person didn't actually have a horse in game ^^;), and based on the imperial legions bay horses with their little glitch we exploited quite often...:| Since their horses aren't coded to have a home to return too, when you steal one, and dismount elsewhere, they stick around. You have to continue sneaking every time you mount them, but hey! Free horse! and a good one, too!...we named the first one Glitch, and it just went downhill from there XD I think we ended up with five Glitches once, cause we kept forgetting where we left him so we'd just steal another.
Then there's Sheoth, an inhabitant of the Shivering Isles...Knowing how many characters there are like him in the fan base, you can PROOOBABLY guess who his dad is, if you played the shivering isles expansion :| We swear, he's not some completely all powerful super attractive or ridiculously too much like a deity mary sue, we tried very hard to avoid that. He was based on Jen's attempt to have her character look as much like sheogorath, so when he signs out for Jyggalag, and she gets the throne, Sheoth looked almost exactly like Sheogorath, just beardless and....aaat the time, apparently that was very gratifying XD
Sheoth comes with his everscamp companion, Creeper, named after a scamp in Morrowind that will actually sell you stuff :|....
And finally, there's Jen's alchemist character, Marrek Brant, and his scruffy, yet nameless at the moment, old Mule.
The main characters also include two khajiit, my Ma'Teo and her Amadeus, buuuut...I couldn't' think of good poses for them, and since they don't show up till the Oblivion bit of the series, I figure I have time to add them later :|
We actually do have quite a bit of this scripted out, and of late its just waiting for me to refine the drawings and her to do the backgrounds before we decide if its actually worth sharing online, and how we'll go about posting it. Its a completely non-profit, non-donation kind of comic, cause we think selling fanart is....dumb......just our opinion.....and literally, the only point of this is an amusing way to share some of our thoughts and experiences with the Elder Scrolls games.
Hey, everyone else is doing it, why not us too XD

Thanks very much! ^^ There was a lot of under drawing to be done, for sure, but I also had references, and help from my animal drawing bible, The Art of Drawing Animals by Ken Hultgren. It has a huge section on horses, and even though I drew them a lot before, when I read that book, it helped improve my form massively. Its an awesome book.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
