Good question! Really this was artistic freedom, so the artist really came up with this "pose" themself. That said, I could certainly see contemporary Cyrrix doing something like that just to screw with someone taking a picture! If we're looking at fantasy Cyrrix then this would be more apt to be a candid moment from before he went into his hermitage :3
