So I decided on striped hyena, even though I was originally thinking of doing a spotty. I didn't have yarn that was to my satisfaction, colorwise, for a spotty. I've got a caramel color, but I wanted something lighter. So striped hyena it is!

This doll will be for sale upon completion - I haven't settled on a price yet because I don't know how torturous the stripe making process will be But I have a bunch of fun ideas for details, and some interesting yarns to go along with those ideas.

This is actually fursuit inspired, really. I started watching wild-life recently; have you guys seen that latest shepherd suit for sale? Freaking gorgeous. Anyway, they have a number of hyena suits back in their gallery, and that made me want to do a hyena, myself. I also kind of want to experiment more with exaggerating features and expressions. So this hyena has angry eyes, and I'm hoping to do some expressive lips (and teeth!) as well. I don't know, the muzzle is black and I always do lip lines with black yarn so. I'l have to think of something that will still look good for that, lol.
