It was fate. The Legion of the Dark Sages had plagued the universe with their corrupt power, and rejected those with true potential. The female, Princess, who carried the legacy of one of the most infamous assassins in history, and the male, Ram'c, who was believed to be the Devil incarnate. So it was that these two had their paths cross, and they would join forces to defeat the Dark Sages once and for all, which would ultimately lead to a showdown between the two. But they had one Dark Sage to deal with, who was one of the most elite.
