Fun Facts About This Image:
The album accompanying this image is actually over two years old…I compiled it just before our 5th anniversary. I had done an image that could’ve been used for this album, but wasn’t satisfied with the picture. Plus I knew exactly what I wanted to do for it…unfortunately just took me forever to get to it.
The background is a homage to the Pan-Pacific Auditorium that once stood in Los Angeles , a structure I was fascinated with (and still am really) after watching ‘Xanadu’. I’m very into ‘art deco’ style buildings and decorations, so I was really enthralled with this. It sadly burnt down in 1989, so I never got to see it in person, but I believe there’s a little monument to it there now.

I know you've been working on aspects of this one for a while but I've only seen it recently when you were putting the two images together. I was impressed and surprised that you took to Xanadu with the same wonder that I did back when it was on every other hour on HBO back in the 80s. My mother had the record and I listened to it a lot back then but even today the music is perfect. Thank you so much for the hard work on making this masterful picture I of course love both parts of it and especially you!!!

Yea, I'm addicted to that album, haven't listened to the record in a bit but I listen to selections from the soundtrack a lot, especially 'Dont walk away'. That was really the second to last song for this one, the Annie Lennox Title is really what brought it all together, everything else I had just been hearing over the past year and a half off and on and eventually got to putting it all together.
