Thanks to  tanidareal at Scotiacon this year I picked up a sketch picture. Running events and conventions can cause staff a lot of stress. Things go wrong at unexpected points and you have to deal with them.

You will hear of staff sometimes talking about having nightmares abotu conventions, like main stage not turning up, everything being printed wrong and a whole host of things all going wrong at the same time.

So we see Silver in a convention nightmare with the shirts printed wrong, conbooks in Siberia, hundreds of socks as sponsor items and he's loosing some fur over it.

Of course for the most part everything does work well and events run with a minimum of fuss, there's just that niggle on the night before.
