So I needed a wallpaper of sorts so my profile icon wasnt the "offline image" in the player when Im not streaming on twitch, thus I whipped this up in about 2 hours (however this is a scaled down version for easier upload. The real image dimensions are 1920x1080)
Im a big League of Legends player (at the time of this upload a Silver V player in ranked, but Im trying to improve and one day reach higher) and the concept was inspired by the loading screen for the game where it shows the portraits of each character. So I decided to use my favorite champions of choice for each role as well as my favorite skins for each champion (sadly I dont own Frozen Shen....*sigh*).
Top Lane - Shen: This is actually my weakest role and I dont have a lot of characters Im particularly good at, however since I can play him both jungle and support as well, I decided Shen was my champion of choice for Top lane since I know how to play him better than most other top lane champions.
Why Shen? When Im not playing as a DPS that kills you in 0.5 seconds, I love characters that are protectors and Shen fits that bill perfectly in both lore and playstyle. When I play as a tank, there's nothing more satisfying than saving a teammate from certain death, and then that teammate picks up a kill on the enemy champ you saved them from, as opposed to charging in and killing them yourself like Darius. Plus check out that smokin hot bod! And that voice! <3
Other Options: Jayce, Aatrox, Singed, Nasus, Irelia
Jungle - Evelynn: Jungle was another role I struggled with, mostly because I could never find any that were fun to play or that I could play really well since Im generally bad at most tanky dps junglers like Lee Sin and Jarvan IV (some exceptions being Zac and Aatrox, but they werent released at the time)......and then I found Evelynn
Why Evelynn? I used to HATE this bitch back when she had her stun cause I would get so annoyed with being killed by her. After they removed it and she fell out of favor, I decided to try her myself and it was love at first kill and was happy to have a jungler I was good at. Then they reworked her and I'll admit I was really pissed off with what they did to her spells (I miss her old E...) but over time I got used to the new kit and Im probably better with her now than as old Evelynn. I love her playstyle of murdering enemies as fast as possible, her dialogue, and her mysterious lore (seriously, what the hell is she?). I know nowadays people like to play her mid, but sorry, she's a jungler to me.
Other Options: Udyr, Master Yi, Shen, Aatrox, Zac
AP Mid - Ahri: Im a mage at heart, so obviously Mid would be one of my favorite roles. I love furry characters in games (Nasus, Renekton), but I hate how all of them are tanky dps playstyles. Ive always wanted a furry mage and waited forever for one to finally show up. Then Ahri was announced......she -was- a fox, so close enough.
Why Ahri? I love burst-type mages and she's (sorta) furry. When I realized her dance was from one of my favorite KPop songs combined to my other two reason, I was instantly sold and waited anxiously for her. She turned out to be one of my best AP Mids with her skillshot-heavy playstyle (much like Ezreal) and playing Storm Spirit in DotA 2 made me even better as her. There's really not much else to say about her really <3
Other Options: Orianna, Syndra, Lissandra, Twisted Fate, Anivia
AD Carry - Ezreal: I like this role for the dps, but I prefer carries that take a little more skill than "right click to win" (such as Caitlyn and Vayne), and Ezreal is no exception to the rule.
Why Ezreal? I have a long history with him over the course of my League of Legends "career". I remember picking him up when I was close to around lvl 10 on my account and I played mostly him ever since. He's the whole reason I love skillshot champions, actually. I love his concept, his lore, his playstyle, everything about him. I fucking lost it when I found out about Pulsefire Ezreal coming out and bought it the second it was released. Of all the 100+ Champions, Ezreal has always been "that one champion" where no matter how much you struggled to learn him, how much your teammates or enemies bashed you for sucking, you keep on playing him because he's fun and makes you happy every time you click on him in champion select.
Other Options: Graves, Miss Fortune, Varus, Quinn, Lucian (when he comes out!)
Support - Sona: Support is probably my 3rd favorite role because I like helping my teammates somehow, but it can be a bit jarring to be stuck playing as it game after game after game. At least I can listen to some nice music...right Sona?
Why Sona? I love a lot of supports, but Sona was one of my first champions, so she instantly gets a special place somewhere. She's very easy to pick up and play for new players while her passive ability bridges the gap between newbie and good Sona players, and she can be very chill to play as when you dont feel like the "action hero" style of play (such as Leona) or someone aggressive (such as Lulu) whereas Sona is very passive and not very complex yet can still be an incredible asset to the team.
Other Options: Thresh, Leona, Lulu, Soraka, Nami
