I've tossed around the idea for a very long time of having a male fursona- not just a male character I draw occasionally. But with the idea of wanting to change everything about my fursona and personality here on FA and within the furry community- I've been doing some strong thinking toward this idea as well. If I'm going to change my fursona, why not change completely and go toward the male spectrum?
Here are a couple of my previous ideas I may or may not consider. There is the nameless Arcanine, and there is the bear I've named Tyson (name may change)... My other thoughts are for a red wolf named Redd (so original I know) who I haven't drawn up completely yet. These are just ideas bouncing around as of right now... Still trying to decide what direction I want to go

I like the arcanine, it's close to what you were and easiest to handle...and still very different. It can be hard going extreme with species and from the art perspective, arcanine seems to have the better fit emotionally. You seem more comfortable that way, without hiding a lot, more free and happy instead of showing the hiding behind clothing and such a big difference in persona. From the extra sketch to the pose and features accented...I would say go arcanine. I have an arcanine character so it may seem biased, but I can see the draw artistically and internally drawn out in the art. Bear may find interest, but biggest comfort seems arcanine from my viewpoint, plus it's a great thing to be!
