Excellent usage of greyscale in this picture! I've always found monochrome art to be very....tranquil and existential. My favorite part of this would actually have to be how you handled the falling snow, the dark sky and the vapor from his breath; it kinda makes me wish for winter, after looking at it.

Why thank you ^//^ Actually the weather effect was a pretty simple one to pull off. A firm layer of black pencil then using a whiteout pen you dab in small sewing like motions. Once dried simply use white and black to shade over the areas for the cloud and breath effect ^^. Hardest part of the picture itself was blending in her outfit as being a dunce I kinda forgot to do that first XD(Coat all my pencil colors with a hard layer of white pencil to help blend the colors and smooth out the graininess of the pencil led texture) Really flattered a traditional artist with your skills would like the piece ^^
