"Son, it's gonna be hard, but there's one thing you just gotta learn to live with; coyotes never come out on top."
-Fonz E. Coyote explaining the way things worked in the tooniverse.
It's not easy being the bad guy in a cartoon. All your plans blow up in your face, your hard work and creativity amounts to nothing, you never end up with the girl (or guy) you like, and if you're a predator- you have to deal with going to bed hungry at the end of each day, and really, no one cares about all the times you were pancaked under an anvil, or blown up by your own TNT, or run over by the train coming out of the tunnel you painstakingly painted on the side of a mountain.
But hey, without us "bad guys", who do the fans get to laugh at?
It's all worth it in the end, when you just feel the laughter, when you've distracted someone from their problems, or cheered up a crying child, and your pain becomes your gift to them- one that keeps on giving.
Sometimes, a fan, or even a stranger appreciates that.
Sometimes, the coyote gets the guy in the end.
And maybe just this once... the coyote gets to be on top.

OH! I didn't know this! I was just trying to see if any of those changes you declared were internal in nature. **He looks at the tree stump** Looks like no, though. It appears as a tree stump should look. **He glances at you, then the tree he's holding aloft, then back at you, then back at the tree** Hmmm.... **He changes his chainsaw arm into a regular arm, breaks off some tree bark, chews it, and swallows** A-ha! Arboris coyotismooshensis! A generic coyote-smooshing tree! Mystery solved!
