So I found a contest on DA that I was interested in doing, they are offering a brand new tablet as the first place prize <3 *crosses fingers* I hope I win!
I originally wanted to have them dancing in a ball room but the scenery and time just lead me in a different direction. This was the image I used for a pose idea http://fav.me/d365vwm I realize I still need more practice on my anatomy <3
As I was reading the webcomic that this image is based upon, I just fell in love with Souri and Roo. Then once I read the scene with him pinning her up against the tree trying to bring Solas out, I just knew it. Right then and there that those two are who I wanted to draw. I think they make an awesome couple, aside from being married in a previous life lol ;) It actually saddens me to see so many people putting Gabriel and Roo together because its like, but but but Souri ... and Solas... and Jek... And Roo... and and and cuteness ;p; lol But either way I love them all!
With this one, I actually wanted to make her dress something special. Aside from the night sky and sunset merging, I also tried giving the stars a faded look, as if the dress was soaking up the stars. I tried making it look like she was wearing the night sky :D
