Here the story:
Malefor found Volteer unconscious near the volcano. He had to take him back to the castle before the volcano erupted, but it was too late. Malefor quickly grabs Volteer's and carried him until the volcano finally burst out lava and balls of flame. Malefor quickly flew up into the dark sky before he was caught in the dark ashes. Now, he sent Volteer to the castle without getting caught by the guards.
