I think that sometimes I give too many fucks. I have come to the realization that there is a limited quantity.

The older I get, the more aware I am that the energy spent on empathy is finite.

Some just come to this realization earlier. That is a valuable gift, indeed.

I actually enjoy the point when I have no more fucks to give. It's like...no matter how much I've been bleeding over something, I hit that point and it's like the blood just wipes itself away and I feel so free of the situation, despite all of the hard work that may have been involved. Then I can take that anger and frustration that built up and pour it into something productive. It doesn't even need to be art, it could be cleaning, or riding my bike, or even going to the store and rocking out while I get my groceries. Lol
