This is an idea I had years ago when I was new to tf (as well as violin). A violinist goes into nature to practice a classic beginner's piece, Weber's "Hunter's Chorus", played as the pack is released and the huntsman follow in pursuit. The performer's tune carries across the woods, soon interrupted by the first bay of the hounds as a hunting party is mysteriously summoned. But there is a need for quarry, and who better than the source of the melody to fulfill this final role.
