The month of January features NewEnglander's other burr character, Ted.
For those of you familiar with the other work that I've done for NewEnglander, Ted is Sheila's boyfriend. He accidentally traded Sheila's werebear curse for a kiss and now turns into a bear every morning until he has coffee, hence why he is now looking full Bruin. Unfortunately for the poor lad, he is allergic to coffee, so I'm not quite sure how he is going to reverse the effects.

I thought that a camping/hiking scene would be appropriate for him. When I showed the initial sketch to NewEnglanrer, he said he wondered if he's in Jellystone park. If so, the ranger isn't going to like this!

Ted: "Hurrr... I do believe the trail is around here somewhere..."
Sheila: "How can you get us lost? You're the one with the map!"

* I don't necessarily go with monthly 'themes' (snow in the winter, apples in September, etc). The pictures are based on suggestions from the client who purchased the calender slot for that month or whatever I feel like doing that day.
* Yes, this will be a real printed calender.
* Price for the printed calender will be about $23.
* The calender will be available through Lulu.com
* The calender will be available for purchase on my website when it is completed.
* If you want your character to be part of this calender project, the commission list for the first half of the year is full up. The list for the second half of the year will be opened after I finish the art for the first half.
