A gift for someone, and the idea was too cute :3
The return of Ash as a pichu, this time with his pikachu, both diapered. Idea inspired by the caterpie/pikachu scene ^-^

Oh, wow! That scene is sooooooo far back in the series. I remember watching it and wondering, "What is going on?" until you got to see how Caterpie's aspirations were to become a Butterfree and fly.
If I'm not mistaken, I think this was actually the first time we got just a Pokemon to Pokemon interaction. Kind of like what we come to enjoy in the shorts that began most, if not all, of the movies.
Hard to also believe that the scene you reference was first aired almost 15 years ago! Yowza!
As for the art, I am impressed at how you took a different approach in shading them. They appear more realistic. Kind of like your face shot of Sparks from the other day.
In a way, the scene kind of makes me think that Baby Ashchu is wondering about when he will evolve and whether-or-not he'll be out of diapers when he does. To which, padded Pika explains that everyone evolves differently and that, even if he still needs a diaper, it isn't a bad thing. Kind of a "Don't worry about how you grow. Worry about being who you truly are and everything will be okay."
Self-acceptance and being understood is very important. Both for children and adults.
Last note is how I like your border. Gives it a "Photographic" appearance.
